Products

Add a product

Go to Catalog › Products and click Add Product. The form is split into cards. Only the title and price are required.

1. Product Images

   Upload one or more photos. You can crop each image after uploading. The first image is the main one shown in listings.

2. Basic Information

   Product Title (required), Product Slug (the web address, filled in from the title), and a Description. Choose Collections here, or create a new collection on the spot.

3. Pricing

   • Price: what the customer pays.
   • Compare at Price: the original price, shown crossed out to show a sale.
   • Cost per Item: what it costs you. Customers never see it; it's used for your Gross Profit figure.

4. Inventory

   Turn on Track Inventory to count stock, then set the quantity. Under When out of stock, choose Don't allow purchases or Continue selling (useful for pre-orders and made-to-order items). Add a SKU and Barcode if you use them; the POS scanner looks products up by barcode.

5. Tags

   Add searchable tags, separated by commas. Tags make products easier to find, and automatic collections can pick products up by tag.

6. Product Details

   Status (Active is on sale, Draft is hidden while you work on it, Archived is retired), Product Type, Brand (from Brands) and Vendor.

7. SEO

   Set the SEO Title (up to 60 characters), Meta Description (up to 160), keywords and a social sharing image.

8. Create Product

   Save. The product goes live on your store right away if its status is Active.

Let AI write the details

Variants: size, colour, material

If a product comes in options, add them in the Variants card:

1. Add an option

   Type an Option name, such as Size, Color or Material.

2. Add its values

   For example S, M, L. Add a second option (Colour: Red, Blue) if you need one.

3. Review the variants table

   Joomni creates one variant for every combination (S / Red, S / Blue, …). Set the price and stock for each. With variants, the product's total quantity is the sum of its variants, so you set stock per variant.

Manage your catalog

The Products list shows totals (units, live status, stock gaps and average price) above a searchable table. From each row you can:

• View: a read-only overview with images, variants, pricing and SEO.
• Edit: the same form as Add Product.
• Duplicate: copy a product as a starting point for a similar one.
• Delete: removes the product. A product that already has orders is archived instead, so your order history stays intact.
