POS Terminal
The POS turns any laptop or tablet into a checkout counter. It uses the same products and stock as your website, keeps selling when the internet drops, and prints receipts and barcode labels.
Turn on the POS
Install the extension
Go to Website › Extensions, find Joomni POS System and install it. Set a Default Terminal Name (for example “Main Register”) and choose whether to enable offline mode.Open POS
A POS item appears in the sidebar. Service businesses see it as Service Terminal.Sync the catalog
The first time, run a Full Catalog Sync from the sync options. This copies your products to the device so the terminal is fast and works offline. After that, Sync Changes picks up only what changed.
Ring up a sale
Add items
Search for products, tap them, or scan a barcode. A USB or Bluetooth scanner works like a keyboard, so just scan while the POS is open. Joomni matches the code against each variant's barcode or SKU. If a product has options, pick the variant.Adjust the cart
Change quantities or remove lines under Current Order. The POS won't let you sell more than the stock on hand for tracked items.Attach a customer (optional)
Search by name, email or phone to link the sale to a customer record.Apply a promo code (optional)
Type a discount code and click Apply.Take payment
Choose Cash or Card. For cash, enter the Cash tendered and the POS works out the change.Print the receipt
Once the order is placed, print a receipt showing the items, total, payment method and change.
Offline mode
If the connection drops, keep selling. Sales are saved on the device and queued. When you're back online they sync automatically, and you can open the queue to see what is Pending, Syncing or Failed, retry, or delete a queued order.

Barcode labels
Barcode Labels (from the POS) opens the Barcode Generator. Select products and variants, preview the labels (standard size, about 2" × 1") and print them. Stick them on shelves or products so you can scan them at the counter. Give each variant a barcode or SKU in the product form first.
Today's Sales: the day summary
Click Today's Sales to see paid in-store sales since midnight. Use it to close the day:

How POS fits with the rest of Joomni
- POS sales appear in Orders with the channel In-store (POS).
- Stock is shared. Selling the last one at the counter takes it off the website too. See Inventory.
- Give cashiers their own staff accounts so the day summary shows sales per person.
