Product Reviews
Let shoppers rate and review your products. Reviews appear on each product page with a star summary, a verified-purchase badge for real buyers and your public replies. You decide what goes live.

What shoppers see
On every product page: the average rating and a 5-to-1 star breakdown, the newest reviews (with “Show more”), each reviewer's name shortened to “Sita K.” by default, the option they bought, and your reply. Star ratings also appear under the product title and on product cards in themes that show them.
The Write a review form asks for a star rating, an optional title, the review, a name and an email address. The email address is never shown.
Moderating reviews
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Waiting for you. Not on your store yet. |
| Published | Live on the product page and counted in the rating. |
| Hidden | Taken off the store but kept, so you can publish it later. |
| Spam | Caught automatically or marked by you. Never shown. |
Click a review to read it in full, see the order it came from, and publish, hide, mark as spam or delete it. Select several to act on them together. You can't edit what a customer wrote, but you can reply.

Verified purchases
A review is a verified purchase when the reviewer has a delivered or fulfilled order that contains the product: they were signed in to their customer account, or they came from their order-tracking link. Typing the same email address as an order doesn't count.

Google review stars
Product pages with reviews include structured data (an aggregate rating and the reviews shown), so Google can show stars next to your product in search results. Only published reviews visible on the page are included.
Review request emails
Turn on Review request emails in Review settings (Growth plan and up). A few days after an online order is marked Delivered, the customer gets an email in your store's branding with one-tap stars for each product they bought. Tapping a star opens the product page with the form ready and that rating picked. Reviews written from the email are verified purchases, even without signing in.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Days after delivery | How long to wait before the email. 7 by default. |
| Send one reminder | A second email five days later, only if nothing was reviewed. |
Every email has an unsubscribe link, and customers who unsubscribe never get another review request from your store. In-store (POS) sales aren't emailed. The settings page shows how many requests went out and how many became reviews.
Photo reviews
With Let shoppers add photos on (Growth plan and up), the form accepts up to four JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF photos per review. Photos go live only when the review is published, and you can open each one from the review's panel. Filter the list by Photos to find them.
Helpful and report
Shoppers can mark a review Helpful once, and the count shows on the review. They can also Report it. When a review collects the number of reports you set (3 by default), it goes back to Pending and you get a notification.
Importing reviews
Moving from another platform? On the Reviews page choose Import CSV and upload an export from Judge.me, Shopify Product Reviews, Daraz or a spreadsheet. Each row needs a product handle or SKU, a 1–5 rating, the review text and a name. The date and a store reply are kept when the file has them. Choose whether they publish straight away. Rows you already have are skipped, so the same file can be imported twice safely. Imported reviews never show the verified-purchase badge.
API, webhooks and AI
- REST API:
GET /api/v1/reviewsandGET /api/v1/reviews/:idwith thereviews:readscope;PUT /api/v1/reviews/:id/statusand/replywithreviews:write. Reviewer emails are never included. See REST API & webhooks. - Webhooks:

Every change is shown to you first and waits for your confirmation. An assistant can never write or edit a review.
Spam protection
The form has a hidden trap field and a minimum time to fill in, reviews with several links go straight to Spam, and each shopper can only send a few reviews per hour and one per product.
