Joomni emails customers when they order and when their order changes. Here you can customise those emails and send them from your own address.

Email Templates
Each email your store sends has a template you can edit. Select one from Email Types, then:

| Order Confirmation | A customer places an order. |
| New Order (store owner) | You get an order. This one goes to you. |
| Order Status Update | An order’s status changes, for example dispatched or delivered. |
| Order Cancelled | An order is cancelled. |
| Order Refunded | An order is refunded, in full or in part. |
| Abandoned Cart, Review Request, Back in Stock | Not sent automatically yet. You can customise them now, ahead of launch. |
Edit the subject and HTML body
Use merge tags in double braces, such as{{orderNumber}}, which are replaced with real data when the email is sent. Loops like{{#each items}}list the order's items.Check the Preview

Send the draft to your own inbox. This saves your changes first.Enable or disable
Switch off any email you don't want sent. Reset to default restores the original template.
Email / SMTP: send from your own address
By default, store emails go through Joomni's shared sender. On Business you can send through your own mail server instead, so emails come from your domain and are less likely to land in spam.

| Username / Email and Password | Your mailbox login. For Gmail, use an App Password (see below). |

| From Name and From Email | How emails appear in the inbox, for example “Himalayan Crafts” <[email protected]>. |
Using Gmail
Gmail doesn't accept your normal password here. In your Google Account, turn on 2-Step Verification, search for App passwords, create one (Mail › Other), and paste the 16-character password into Joomni.
