Collections

Collections group products so customers can browse them together: “Summer Essentials”, “Men's Shoes”, “Under Rs 1,000”. Each collection gets its own page on your store, which you can link from your menus and feature on your homepage.

Two kinds of collection

Manual CurationYou choose each product. Good for hand-picked edits like “Staff Picks” or a festival gift guide.
Dynamic ConditionsProducts join automatically when they match your rules. New products that match show up without any extra work.

Create a collection

  1. Click New Collection

    From Catalog › Collections.

  2. Add a cover image

    Under Collection Visual. Themes use it on collection pages and in “shop by collection” sections.

  3. Title, slug and description

    The Collection Title is required. The Slug becomes the web address, for example /collections/summer-essentials.

  4. Choose the Classification Strategy

    Choose Manual Curation and search for products to add, or Dynamic Conditions and build rules (see below).

  5. Set visibility and SEO

    Leave Visibility Status on to publish it on your storefront, or off to keep it as a draft. Fill in the SEO title and description to control how it appears in search results.

  6. Create Collection

Writing conditions

Each condition has three parts: a field, a relation and a value.

Examples:

  • Tag equals summer: everything you've tagged for summer.
  • Product Type equals Shoes: all shoes.
  • Price less than 1000: an “Under Rs 1,000” gift collection.

Tag products consistently

Automatic collections are only as good as your product data. Settle on tag and product-type spellings (Shoes, not a mix of shoe and Footwear) and stick to them.

Upload an image that sums up the collection. The AI suggests a title, description, SEO text and even automatic rules. Review the suggestions and apply the ones you want.

Managing collections

The Collections list shows totals for all, automated and manual collections, and you can filter by Published or Drafts. Deleting a collection doesn't delete its products. You can also add products to collections from the product form.

To show a collection on your site, link it from Navigation or add a collection section in the page builder.
