Media
The Media Library holds every image and file your site uses: product photos, banners, logos, blog images. Upload once, organise into folders, and reuse anywhere.
In the dashboard:Website › MediaPlan:All plans (storage: 500 MB Free Starter, 5 GB Basic Store, 50 GB Business)
Upload files
Click Upload Assets and choose files, or drag them in. Images you upload while editing a product, collection or page also land here, so the library is one place for everything.
Folders
| Action | How |

| Create a folder | New Directory, then name it, for example “Products” or “Summer_2026”. |
| Move files | Select files, then Move Assets, then choose the destination folder. |
| Rename a folder | Use Rename Folder from the folder’s menu. |
| Delete a folder | Choose Keep files (Move to General) to keep the files, or Delete folder and purge all files to remove everything inside it. |
Find and reuse
- Search by file name and filter by type: Media, Product, Collection or Theme.
- Select several files to use bulk actions, such as copying all their links at once, moving or deleting.
- Copy a file's URL to paste into a section, email template or custom code.
- In the page builder, the Media Library button opens the same library without leaving the editor.
Deleting is permanent
A deleted image disappears from every product, page or email that uses it. Check before you delete, especially in bulk.
Image tips
Keep product photos square and consistent. Compress large photos before upload; smaller files load faster on mobile data. Name files clearly (“red-silk-saree.jpg”), which also helps image search.
