Inventory

Inventory shows how much of everything you have, flags what's running low, and records every stock change with a reason, so the numbers always add up.

How stock tracking works

  • Stock is tracked only for products (or variants) with Track Inventory turned on. Others show as Not tracked.
  • An online order takes stock off automatically as soon as it is placed. So does a sale on the POS, because the POS and your website share one stock count.
  • Cancelling an order can put items back. Tick Restock items when you cancel.
  • What happens at zero depends on the product's When out of stock setting: stop selling, or keep selling (for pre-orders).

FigureMeaning
Managed SKUsHow many items you track stock for.
Low StockTracked items with 5 or fewer left.
Out of StockTracked items at zero or below.
Estimated ValueThe retail value of the stock you hold.

Search by product title or SKU, and filter by availability to see only low or out-of-stock items. That makes a quick reorder list.

Adjust stock

Click Adjust Stock on any row. There are two ways to change the number:

ModeWhen to use it
Change AmountAdd or remove a quantity. Use a positive number for a delivery from your supplier (+20) and a negative one for losses (−3). The new level is shown before you save.
New Stock LevelReplace the number entirely with what you counted. Use this after a stocktake.

Every adjustment needs a Reason for Adjustment:

ReasonTypical use
Manual AdjustmentA general change that doesn’t fit the others.
Stock CorrectionFixing a number that was wrong.
Restock / ShipmentNew stock arrived.
Damaged / ExpiredWritten-off goods.
ReturnA customer returned an item to stock.

Activity log

Each item has an Activity Log listing every stock movement, including orders, POS sales, cancellations and manual adjustments, with its reason. When a count looks wrong, the log shows what happened.

Ask the AI

The Vendor AI Agent can answer “List my products with low inventory”. On Business plans it can also forecast demand, so you can reorder before you run out.
