Collaborators
Collaborators are agencies and freelancers from the Joomni partner program who work on your store with their own login. You approve each one, choose exactly what they can see and change, and can remove them at any time. You never share your password.
Let a partner in
Give them your request code
Open Settings › Collaborators and copy the collaborator request code. Send it, with your store address, to the partner you're working with. The code is on by default, so only people you give it to can ask for access.Review their request
It appears under Pending requests, and you get a notification and an email. You see the partner's business, contact details, message and the access they asked for.Approve or decline
Click Review, adjust the permissions if you want (presets: Full access, Design, Catalogue), and click Approve access. Or click Decline.
What a collaborator can do
Exactly what you tick, using the same permission areas as staff: orders, products and inventory, customers, online store and theme, blogs, bookings, reviews, analytics, settings and point of sale. Whatever you tick, these always stay with you:
- Billing, plans and store credit, and the whole Settings area (staff, sessions, collaborators, domains, your account).
- Payment, SMS and email credentials. Collaborators can't see them.
- API keys, webhooks, MCP connection keys and AI provider keys.
- Deleting the store.
Manage collaborators

| Permissions | Change what an active collaborator can do. It applies on their next action. |
| Remove | Their access ends straight away, and any AI assistant they connected to your store is disconnected. |
| Collaborator activity | Every access change, and every change a collaborator made in your store, newest first. |
| Request code: New code | Replaces the code. The old one stops working for new requests; people who already have access keep it. |
| Request code: switch off | Any approved Joomni partner can send you a request without a code. You still approve each one. |
A store built for you by a partner
If a partner built your store, you get an email asking you to accept it. Sign in (or create a Joomni account) with the email it was sent to and click Accept. You become the owner, your 14-day free trial starts that day, and the partner stays on as a collaborator with full access, which you can change or remove here. See Dev stores & transfers.
