Brands
If you sell other companies' products, such as Samsung, Nike or Himalayan Java, record each one as a brand and link products to it. It keeps your catalog organised and gives theme sections a logo to show.

Create a brand
Click Create Brand
From Catalog › Brands.Name and slug
The Brand Name and Slug are required. The slug is a short, URL-friendly version of the name.Website and description

Upload a high-resolution logo. Theme sections that show brand logos use it.Status
Keep it Active to show it on your storefront.
Link products to a brand
In the product form, under Product Details, pick the brand from the Brand list, or create a new one right there. The Brands list shows how many products each brand has.
Brand or Vendor?
Brand links the product to a brand record with its own logo and description. Vendor is a free-text field for the manufacturer or supplier name. Use Brand for the name customers recognise, and Vendor for your own records or for automatic collection rules.
Deleting a brand
Deleting a brand doesn't delete its products. They stay in your catalog and are simply unlinked from the brand.
