Welcome to your first step toward e-commerce success. In this module, we'll cover the essential settings that define your business identity on the Joomni platform.
1. Choosing Your Subdomain
Your subdomain (e.g., yourbrand.joomni.com) is your store's first home. Choose a name that is:
- Short & Memorable: Avoid long phrases.
- Brand Consistent: Use your actual business name.
- Easy to Spell: Minimize the risk of typos for your customers.
Tip: You can always connect a custom
.com or .com.np domain later in the settings!2. Core Store Settings
Navigate to Settings in your dashboard. You need to verify three key areas:
Contact Information
Ensure your business email and phone number are correct for order notifications.
Currency & Locale
Set this to Nepalese Rupee (NPR) and Asia/Kathmandu for local operations.
3. Legal & Policies
Transparency builds trust. Joomni provides templates for:
Privacy Policy (Essential for Facebook/Google Ads)
Terms of Service (Your store's rules)
Refund & Return Policy (Clearly state how you handle returns in Nepal)
